I am pleased to invite you to join the global Obesity health professional community at the SASMBS 2024 Feb 7-9. This is the seventh annual SASMBS educational meeting focused on Obesity and related comorbidities. At the congress, you will access updates on Revision surgery and the Pharmacotherapy tools to manage, and prevent Obesity with Allied health care providers. With the increasing obesity burden worldwide comes an increase in Obesity comorbidity-related diseases. Poor Obesity management outcomes, whether through lack of education or enhancement follow-up, means Obesity management factors are a growing public health concern in countries. The SASMBS 7th annual congress will feature a 3-day program offering the latest scientific advances in managing and preventing Obesity and weight regain. The opening day of the congress will also spotlight pre-congress courses. I believe it will enhance and refresh your knowledge in patient care against Obesity. Throughout the remaining two days of high-level sessions, participants will have many opportunities to network with experts and colleagues through our annual meeting and the exception with many vendors. My colleagues, and I look forward to meeting you in February. Together, we can be a force to improve outcomes and quality of life for people with Obesity.
